Better news is the fact from the end of June I will be joining the joint sports-desk of the Bristol Evening Post and the Western Daily Press.
Which means:
1. Bristol City's 1-0 defeat to Hull in Saturday's play-off final was particularly upsetting; and
2. I get to report on local sporting events such as the cheddar-chasing antics of the men and women of Gloucester.
